Lexy Silva graduated magna cum laude from Texas Christian University with a BFA in Modern Dance. Her early dance training was in Durango, CO with the Bella Dance Company and Judy Austin. Lexy has studied with TCU faculty and other dance artists, including summer intensives with Parson’s Dance Company and Thodos Dance Chicago. Lexy has performed in works by Christian von Howard, Susan Douglas Roberts, Suki John, Sarah Newton, and had a featured role in Charlotte Boye-Christensen’s piece “Note”. In 2013, she traveled to Vancouver, BC with the Visual Acoustics Dance Project to perform at the World Dance Alliance. Since moving to Denver in 2013, she has previously been a company member with Kim Robards Dance, Rogue Co., WRHBL Productions , and Apex Dance. She currently teaches Pilates at Axis Pilates, teaches a Pilates mat course at Metropolitan State University, teaches dance at Girls Athletic Leadership School, and is obtaining her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She has been dancing with Moraporvida since 2015.
