Kallyn Rand grew up dancing at Colorado Colorado Center of Dance at the of four. She is now the owner and creative director of Rand Dance Academy (RDA) established in July of 2018 in Golden, Colorado where she teaches all genres offered at the studio. Kallyn graduated with a B.A. in Dance and Business from Metropolitan State University (MSU) of Denver in May of 2018. Prior to MSU, Kallyn studied at the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design for two years where she studied illustration. Kallyn began teaching dance at the age of 16 and interned at Cleo Parker Robinson during her university studies. She is trained in ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip-hop, and tap through instruction at Colorado Center of Dance, MSU, Jacob Mora, Cleo Parker Robinson Dance, Hannah Kahn, and other Denver studios and programs. Additionally, Kallyn was selected at MSU to perform a new work by Mr. Darrell Grand Moultrie in the Gala Concert at the 2017 ACDA Central Conference.

In addition to her dance education and teaching, her choreography has been part of MSU productions, ACDA conferences, annual Children’s Hospital Charity events, and dance competitions in Denver over the last 9 years. Kallyn is thrilled to continue her passion for dance working with Jacob Mora and the Moraporvida dancers.
