Abigail Corrigan is from Columbus, OH and is a dancer, choreographer, arts administrator, and educator based out of Denver, CO. She is currently a company member of Hannah Kahn Dance Company and Jk-Co Dance Company, as well as a teacher at Metropolitan Academy of Dance and Colorado New Style. Abigail was recently commissioned by T2 Dance Company to create a work for presentation at the Dairy Arts Center, which premiered in September 2021. Previously, Abigail worked in New York City with companies such as VALLETO Dance, Summation Dance Company, Lila Artists, Drye/Marinaro Dance Company, The Nathaniel Hunt Project and more. Abigail received a BFA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a BA in Arts Administration from Elon University, where she performed work by Gerri Houlihan, Kira Blazek, Helen Simoneau, Matt Pardo and Renay Aumiller. In the summer of 2018, Abigail worked with Alessio Silvestrin, Alex Ketley and Christian Burns as a student and choreographic resident at the San Francisco Conservatory of Dance. Abigail has presented her choreography in various festivals and theaters in the New York area including the 2019 Movement Festival, the Salvatore Capezio Theater, and the WAXworks Showcase at Triskelion Arts. She was also the Intensive Semester Training Program Coordinator at Peridance Capezio Center and the Company Coordinator for Peridance Contemporary Dance Company. She is very excited to join Moraporvida this season!
