Marisa Copeland grew up dancing in Boulder with the City of Boulder Expressions Dance Company, Phenomenon Dance, and The Schiff Dance Collective.  After graduating high school Marisa took a break to start her career as a hairstylist and acquire her 200 hour yoga teaching certificate.  Four years into her career Marisa moved to Tel Aviv, Israel to intern under the director of foreign affairs at the Suzanne Dellal Centre, home to Bat Sheva Dance Company and Inbal Pinto Ballet.  This opportunity opened her eyes to the work of every significant choreographer in the country and then some. Once her program completed she returned to Israel within a year, this time landing in Jerusalem to participate in the Vertigo International Training Program studying movement and repertoire from Vertigo Dance Company, Bat Sheva Dance Company, Hofesh Shekter, and more.  Now back in Colorado, Ms. Copeland has enjoyed teaching with Kinesis Dance Studios, Think 360 Arts, and performing with 3rd Law Dance Theatre and Moraporvida Contemporary Dance.
